Established as "Hunumulla Boys' School" with just 20 students at the 'Ambagahalanda Mahagedara'.
Selected as one of the 54 Central Colleges under C.W.W. Kannangara's Free Education Act.
Moved to the current "Kurunduwatta" land, expanding facilities to serve the Minuwangoda zone.
Merged with the Buddhist Girls' School to form a unified educational institute.
